All-in for “Souri”…

Just 5 minutes before the break, Prime Poker’s “Souri” makes a move all-in for 37k putting his 2009 Aussie Millions life on the line. He’s called by the small blind. The cards get some air. “Souri” shows Q♦ 9♠ … his opponent shows T♣ T♠ . The Frenchman is quite behind at this point, and will need some help to stay alive. The dealer slaps down the flop 4♥ 6♣ 9♥ . He’s given a little bit of help, but he’s going to need a lot more. The turn is cast out onto the table 8♥ . No help for the Prime Poker player, as the river leads him into needing a Queen or a Nine. Can he hit one of his 5 outs? The burn card is tucked away…(he needs to hit or he’s out) the river is sent to the end of the community cards…(“Souri” eyes it hoping it’s the miracle card he needs)…the dealer flips it over…T♥ . He’s gone…

Speaking to him after, he tells me that he was pretty much forced to push all-in as his stack was so small. He leaves in 54th place with AUD $15,000 to show for all his hard work!
