Day 1, Flight 2…

So begins Day 2 of the 2009 Aussie Millions Poker Championship. Hope you all slept well, as today is going be another epic day of poker.

The players will start with 20k in chips. There’s 5 levels of 2 hour blinds with the obligatory 15 minute breaks and the much needed, 75 minute dinner break. Let me introduce you to our runners and riders.

Representing Eurobet is Denmarks Frei Dilling-Kjaer on table 24. Here on behalf of Gala is Scotsman Grant Ferguson over on table 33. The three remaining players playing today are all from Red Kings. Veli-Pekka Penttinen of Finland sitting on table 19. Kent Lundmark of Sweden is placed on table 20. The fifth player of todays play, is fellow Swede, Ramzi Jelassi. In the 2008 Aussie Millions Ramzi picked up AUD $40,000 for 25th place. Can he better that position this year?

With the temperature outside approaching 30 degrees, the action inside the Crown poker room promises to be hotter!!
