It’s 32 degrees…

As Melbourne is lavished by sunshine, the temperature creeps up to 32 degrees. However, things are beginning to get even hotter inside.

Gala’s Grant Ferguson has had two great back-to-back solid levels, and now commands a stack just shy of 30k. He tells me about a few hands of mixing it up with Jeff Lisandro resulting in the young Scotsman collecting Lisandro’s chips. He’s very at ease and appears very comfortable with his table. Frei Dilling-Kjaer of Eurobet has 21,775 going into the third level. Asked how the table with Chris Ferguson was playing, Frei responded with a cheeky smile and two words…”pretty loose”. On table 19, Red Kings player Veli-Pekka Penttinen has gleamed his stack count up to 20,950. The quiet Finn is coasting along smoothly. Fellow Red Kings player Kent Lundmark has had a bit of a tumultuous time going from 20k to 24k and has now dropped to 12,325. Back on table 19 Ramzi Jelassi, also of Red Kings has about 12,050 in front of him.

The blinds are now 100/200 with an ante of 25. There’s 184 players left and the average stack is hanging around 22k. Plenty of time for our Partners players to create some magic!
