“Baby Stacks” are multiplying…
There’s 7 of our Partners players remaining in Day 1A of the PokerStars EPT Copenhagen. As I sit here behind my laptop, it pains me to say that only one of those players sits above the average chip count of 14,9k. The blinds are soon to be 150/300 with an ante of 25.
Stefan Raffay of Bet24 – 2,8k
Iisakki Ahonene of Eurobet – 5,5k
Tuomas Sauvola of Eurobet – 10,9k
Mattias Johansson of Heypoker – 11,8k
Jukka Seppänen of PAF – 11,5k
Marc Barat of Winamax – 5,2k
Martin Iversen of bwin – 15,8k
Tuomas Sauvola of Eurobet has done well to get himself up to the heights approaching the average stack. Marc Barat of Winamax has been in amongst the action and not come off too well for it. He’s still putting his chips to good use and continues to make moves. Remember, earlier in the day the Frenchman was down to around 2k, so I don’t think he can be written off just yet. Stefan Raffay’s “tiny” stack is seeing a lot of movement right now, as the Bet24 player tries to make something happen. Almost every time I’m near his table, the chips are pushed to the middle. No callers as of yet!
There’s now 151 players remaining. That number will shrink over the next 3 hours of play as there is an abundance of short stacks out there. Don’t go anywhere…it’s about to get messy!
