Jaakko’s all-in…again…
Just moments ago, Jaakko Lauttamus of PAF gets his chips in the middle again. The Finn has showed plenty of times today that he’s not scared of getting stuck into the action!
With the flop showing 2♥ 3♦ 5♠ . The very useful Danish poker player, Rasmus Nielsen (he came 4th in last years EPT Copenhagen!) checks it to the PAF player, who then bets 17k. Rasmus check-raises the Finn all in. Jaakko makes the call and the cards hit their backs. The PAF player shows A♣ 8♦ and Rasmus shows 9♣ 5♣ . The Dane has top pair, and is out in front…but will it be enough? Can the Finn catch something? The turn comes 3♥ . Jaakko trails even further behind. His Pokerstars.com EPT Copenhagen dream hangs on the river. He needs to catch any 4, any 8 or any Ace to stay alive. The river comes out painfully slow… Q♥ . He’s gone. However, Jaakko does leave €11,906 better off! He’s still smiling, even if it does look a bit forced. It’s his 2nd EPT cash…I’m guessing there will be more in the future!
So, the Partners’ charge for glory, now solely rests upon the shoulders of RedKings player, Ramzi Jelassi. There’s 25 people left, and the blinds are at 2500/5000 with an ante of 500. Not too long before they’re raised again…
