Aaaaaaand Break!…

The first two levels of play have come and passed, and the players have had their well deserved 15 minute sabbatical from poker.

Speaking to Kristoffer Jakobsson of Heypoker, he tells me that his table is ok and he’s going along nicely. Towards the end of the conversation, he reaffirms that his table is ok, but whilst raising his eyebrows he says “I do have Johnny Lodden at my table though” and exhales. He’s looking comfortable even though this is his first EPT event. Henri Kettunen of Betsson tells me has a good table, despite sitting only two spots down from PokerStars Pro, Daniel Negreanu. He does however, inform me that Negreanu is a “funny guy”. The Canadian does like the sound of his own voice, and the table appears to be a happy one because of it. RedKings player Ramzi Jelassi, is mixing his game in the usual fashion with boisterous moves and tactical decisions. The constantly smiling Swede tells me he’s “just giving chips away”. It doesn’t seem to faze him in the slightest, and as I leave him to it, he tells me “no more bluffing…well, only if it’s an all-in…”.

Martin Bjerring Hansen is in the tournament area somewhere, yet he’s eluded me so far. With 396 players in the room, finding the Dane is on the top of my priority list! More on that when I succeed!
