Almost there…

Jesper Birger Kristensen of Scandic Bookmakers just got caught with his hand in the cookie jar.

Getting to the table at the turn, the board reads out J♠ 9♣ 6♣9♦ . Jesper checks, and there’s a bet of 6500. The Scandic Bookmakers player calls. The river arrives in the form of a K♦ . The early position checks and Jesper bets 13k. His opponent goes into the tank. It feels like he’ll never leave it, but eventually calls showing 9♠ 8♠ . The Dane reluctantly turns over his A♠ Q♠ for Ace high. Your blogger grimaces and wanders off muttering words of dismay under his breath. Jesper still has about 22k left after the hand, but with the end of Day 1C fast approaching and an orbit costing 1050, he’s not exactly in “great shape”.
