The Final Countdown…
Hold on to your hats folks…the World Series of Poker 2009 is finally here!
In less than a week, Event 57 will be underway and our Partners players will be battling it out amongst thousands of other players, all hoping to win the prestigious WSOP Main Event bracelet. With 6,844 players in attendance last year, the hefty 1st place prize of $9,152,416 was taken home to Denmark by the 22 year old, Peter Eastgate.
As with every WSOP, the field is going to be extremely tough and pretty much every poker player you can think of will be there in pursuit of the bracelet. Our Partners players will need patience, endurance and of course, a little bit of luck to make it through the 8 days of play needed to reach the final table in November.
How many of our Partners players will make it to the money? Will one of those players manage the herculean task of final tabling the WSOP 2009? And more importantly, will the blog team meet Elvis during their time in Vegas?
