Premiere success for new Ongame Network tournament

Last weekend saw the premiere of Ongame Network’s new tournament product – the ChampionChip – and it seems to be the new word on every player’s lips this week. It attracted a total of 2,322 players battling for a massive prize pot of $441,180, well exceeding the guarantee of $300,000! The first prize winner walked away with more than $70,000 making this one of the most successful tournament premieres in the Networks history.

The ChampionChip is the replacement of Ongame Network’s previous weekly tournament, The Big Deal. The big difference between them is the huge guaranteed prize pool of $300,000 which makes ChampionChip the biggest weekly tournament to date and surely the player’s new favorite.
